Comparing ourselves to others is a painful thought process that leads us to feelings of inadequacy and unworthiness. Rather than allowing our minds to spin in circles of jealousy, we can learn to use Buddha's teachings on rejoicing to help us recognize our own great potential. It is through recognizing the good fortune of others that we are able to gain what we really want.
